Ongoing disruption of the Vietnam pork market from African swine fever (ASF) is driving one vaccine manufacturer there to carry out the first vaccination trials on breeding pigs. As the disease re-emerges in one region of the Philippines, the nation has also set up an animal vaccine research facility.
