As the Philippines makes plans for the recovery of pork production to pre-ASF levels, new cases of the disease in domestic pigs are reported in Bhutan, India, Nepal and four European countries.

A modern veterinary pharmaceutical plant has been opened to produce commercial volumes of a vaccine against African swine fever (ASF).

In the last few days, a new manufacturing site for the production of ASF vaccine has been inaugurated in Bac Ninh city. Located in northern Vietnam, the city is just east of the capital city Hanoi.
