Huvepharma has entered into a sales and marketing agreement with ADM to widen its ruminant nutrition portfolio. Through this partnership, three ADM feed additives will be made available immediately to the ruminant product line of Huvepharma’s growing list of livestock solutions.
“This agreement with Huvepharma will expand producers’ access to ADM’s science-based feed additives that have demonstrated effects on production efficiencies,” said Simon Walley, president-North America, ADM Animal Nutrition. “Precise and responsible animal feeding are the core of our global animal nutrition business. We are dedicated to optimizing nutrition and supporting animal health while mitigating environmental impacts. ADM continually investigates new technologies to serve global nutritional needs, including nutrition solutions to mitigate stressors and improve animal performance.”
ADM’s feed additive solutions are supported by research exploring their bioactive and physiological activity and impacts on animal performance. Included in this new agreement are the following solutions:
- Garlium: Concentrated garlic and other allium compounds formulated to enhance the palatability of animal feed.
- Nexulin: Rumen-protected Capsicum oleoresin designed to support dairy cows prepartum through 120 days of lactation. Every batch is encapsulated with a patented technology that enables stable and consistent delivery of the compound.
- Xtract: Standardized combinations of molecules found in or inspired by plants and spices. This range of feed additives delivers optimal stability of ingredients, supports consistent production and promotes performance and well-being across species.
“Forming this partnership with ADM is another demonstration of Huvepharma’s commitment to supplying the industry with excellent nutritional solutions that meet the challenges unique to animal agriculture,” said Glen Wilkinson, president of Huvepharma Inc. “By developing relationship with other strong animal nutrition companies like ADM, we continue to advance and strengthen our mission of enhancing animal performance and bringing value to our customers.”
