British dairy farm trials methane-reducing feed additive

Bovaer is to be tested at a dairy farm supplying milk to the country’s largest supermarket chain, Tesco.

Dairy and arable company Grosvenor Farms has announced it will test a feed supplement that reduces methane production from cows in United Kingdom (U.K.).

A group of 400 of the company’s dairy cows will be involved in the study investigating the effects of the DSM-Firmenich product, Bovaer.
