Evonik is globally increasing its net price for its DL-methionine 99% feed grade product by 5% to 8%, effective immediately.
The company said all existing contracts and supply agreements will be honored. It did not say why it increased the price for MetAMINO.
In August 2024, Evonik completed the expansion of its DL-methionine production facilities in Singapore, increasing production capacity by 40,000 metric tons, bringing the total to 340,000 metric tons per year.
Evonik is a producer of specialty chemicals. The company is active in more than 100 countries around the world and generated sales of EUR15.2 billion (US$17.25 billion) and an operating profit (adjusted EBITDA) of EUR2.1 billion in 2024. Evonik employs approximately 32,000 people.
