Philippines prepares for commercial ASF vaccination

Within a few weeks, vaccination of pigs on a commercial scale against African swine fever (ASF) is scheduled to start in the Philippines.

The central authority in the Philippines has confirmed its plan to get an African swine fever (ASF) vaccine approved for commercial use within the coming months.

According to the official Philippine News Agency (PNA) this week, the target is for the AVAC ASF Live vaccine to be authorized for commercial sale during the third quarter of this year.
