More ag businesses use insetting to reach carbon neutrality

As companies across all sectors look to move closer to carbon neutrality, carbon offsets and insets are being utilized to reduce the impact of their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Carbon offsets and insets are strategies for reducing the impact of carbon emissions, but they differ in where and how they are implemented. Offsets come from projects outside of a company’s operations and supply chains, while insets and Scope 3 GHG reductions are originated by reducing emissions within a company’s own operations and supply chain.
