The White House has introduced a plan to meet its goal of reducing food loss and waste in the U.S. by 50% by 2030.
The strategy said preventing the loss and waste of food and upcycling food will reduce the environmental impact of feeding a growing population and improving the efficiency of the food system will reduce its environmental footprint.
