Barbados boosts feed supply for coming El Nino

With a strongly developing El Nino forecast to bring drought to the Caribbean region, the Barbadian government has launched a series of measures to mitigate against a potential shortage of animal feed.

With a strongly developing El Nino forecast to bring drought to the Caribbean region, the Barbadian government has launched a series of measures to mitigate against a potential shortage of animal feed.

The latest project to be launched by the island nation's Ministry of Agriculture involves the cultivation of drought-tolerant grasses, reported Barbados Today this week.
