Legalization of hemp 'very difficult' in dairy cow diets, researcher says

Study finds CBD in milk from newly lactating cows weeks after the animals appeared to clear the cannabinoids from their system.

New data suggesting that cannabinoids can enter the milk supply and reappear in postpartum cows once lactation resumes could make the use of hemp as feed “very difficult” under the current U.S. regulatory framework, according to Oregon State University Associate Professor Massimo Bionaz.
