ForFarmers Nederland B.V. and Beukelaar Diervoeders B.V. have agreed to join forces in the broiler and pig sector, with ForFarmers acquiring all shares in Beukelaar Diervoeders.
Beukelaar Diervoeders, founded in 2005 and based in Uden, the Netherlands, supplies feed and feed advice to broiler and pig farmers, primarily in the Netherlands and Belgium. Their market approach and expertise have earned them a strong reputation among broiler farmers and breeders.
By joining forces, both organizations strengthen their position in the chain, particularly in the broiler sector, and respond to the growing demand for sustainability in food production. The production and logistics of Beukelaar Voeders’ feed are outsourced to third parties.
“We believe in a future-proof and sustainable broiler sector for the long term, based on a solid, forward-looking plan. We are therefore delighted with this step, which fits in perfectly with our strategy,” said Koen Brinkman, director of pigs and poultry Netherlands at ForFarmers. “By combining the knowledge and network of Beukelaar Diervoeders and ForFarmers, we can serve our customers even better and increase our impact in the chain.”
The current owner of Beukelaar Diervoeders, Huub van Santvoort, sees this step as an opportunity for his customers: “ForFarmers is an ambitious company that strives to provide a professional and efficient range of feed and feed advice. The agreement was finalized on November 3. The integration of Beukelaar Diervoeders will be carefully designed, with a focus on continuity and customers. The approach on farm will therefore remain the same, with the same team and the same solution-oriented approach.
