Cranswick has acquired the Fridaythorpe feed mill from AB Agri.
Located near Driffield in East Yorkshire, U.K., the facility supports Cranswick’s strategic goal of increasing self-sufficiency in pig feed production.
The Fridaythorpe mill has been a key part of AB’s northern operations since 1998, with a strong track record in producing both pig and poultry feed. This acquisition complements Cranswick’s existing feed mills in Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire, enhancing its production capabilities and reinforcing its commitment to British agriculture, the company stated in a press release.
“We are delighted to welcome the Fridaythorpe team to the Cranswick family and look forward to continuing to deliver excellence in feed production as part of our vertically integrated farming operations,” the company said.
