Swine influenza control is a moving target, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) scientists say they have developed a low-cost, adaptable vaccination technique aimed at strengthening protection for pigs as influenza strains continue to mutate and change.

The work matters for pork producers, veterinarians and animal health systems that have to keep disease programs aligned with viral evolution while managing cost and on-farm practicality.
