Biosecurity, vaccination: ASF control in Vietnam

In Vietnam, outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) continue widely across the country, with a leading animal health company calling for better farm biosecurity to support the efficacy of its vaccine.

So far this year, 261 African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks in domestic pigs have been confirmed in Vietnam. The outbreaks have occurred in 24 of the nation’s 34 cities/provinces, and more than 14,700 swine have been culled.
