Researcher: ASF vaccine development no longer in its infancy

Vaccines for the disease are increasingly effective, researchers say, but some safety concerns remain.

A growing body of evidence on the latest round of vaccines deployed against the African swine fever (ASF) virus suggests these vaccines are increasingly effective in preventing pigs from dying from the disease, but that some questions around safety persist, according to a research review paper from Jeonbuk National University in South Korea.
