A significant majority of the members of the European Parliament have voted in favor of a further 12-month postponement to the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
EU deforestation rules face further 12-month postponement
Previously expected at the end of December, the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is now scheduled to come into effect for most companies in the bloc at the end of 2026.
