A bill introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives aims to counteract California’s Proposition 12 and Massachusetts’ Question 3 and “ensure the free movement of livestock-derived products in interstate commerce.”

Introduced by Iowa Rep. Ashley Hinson on July 23, the Save Our Bacon Act “would alleviate this overregulation by prohibiting state and local governments from interfering with the production of livestock in other states,” according to a press release.
