Land O’Lakes is delighted to announce and welcome Dr. David Bravo as Director for Innovation and Technology Scouting within the Animal Nutrition Technical Innovation team.

Dr. Bravo was most recently the Chief Innovation Officer and an Executive Committee member at Swiss-based Pancosma. For the past 12 years, he has led Pancosma's innovation department overseeing an in-house team of researchers and external research collaborations. Prior to joining Pancosma, Dr. Bravo spent eight years in R&D in ruminant and poultry for InVivo NSA.
Dr. Bravo is one of the foremost experts in gut immunology, gut sensing, and gut microbiology. He has received more than 10 patents and authored or co-authored more than 70 peer reviewed papers including “The Gut as a Sensory Organ” published in Nature in 2013.
He received his B.S. degree in nutrition from INA Paris-Grignon, M.S. degree (honors 1st Class) in molecular physiology from University Aix Marseille and Ph.D. (honors 1st Class) in dairy cow nutrition from AgroParisTech. David also completed the intensive Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School in 2018.
David is a native of southwestern France and currently resides in Yverdon, Switzerland with his family.
