Ralco International welcomes general manager

The addition of John DeVos represents the company's focus on growing global markets for Ralco technologies

Ralco has announced that John DeVos has joined the company as general manager of Ralco International. DeVos provides Ralco with significant executive experience that enhances the company’s focus on development of international markets. Ralco is a multinational company with offices in Ecuador, Uruguay, Thailand and the Netherlands.

DeVos is a seasoned executive with a strong background in general management, marketing, sales, operations and business development. DeVos developed and led multiple successful ventures and brands during his time in the food industry, which ultimately resulted in his appointment as vice president of sales development. Ralco President and CEO Brian Knochenmus said the addition of DeVos to the executive staff as international general manager represents a renewed focus on growing international markets for Ralco technologies.

“We have experienced significant international sales growth during the past decade and as a company we understand the potential of this market. However, success in Latin America, Asia and Europe represents more than growing our business, it is essential to achieving our mission of providing a safe and abundant global food supply,” Knochenmus said. “We take our mission seriously and we continue to attract the talent that helps us accomplish that mission.”

Ralco provides international swine, beef, dairy and poultry producers with patented and proprietary nutrition and animal health technologies that promote overall health and efficiency. The 44-year-old company also offers crop producers products that stimulate microbial activity for greater soil and plant health.

“I have diverse experience and enjoy using it specifically to develop new business,” DeVos said. “The international market craves Ralco technologies and we are going to fill that need to achieve one of the greatest goals of all – feeding hungry people. It is a mission that both Ralco and I share.”
