For the past three years, there has been a noticeable increase in the construction and renovation of commercial grain facilities. This upward trend can be attributed to various factors. One of the primary reasons for the demand in facility upgrades and new constructions is the aging domestic material handling equipment. Additionally, there is a growing need for co-products such as soybean oil, which has further fueled the demand for these developments.

In the following years, numerous greenfield projects as well as expanded or upgraded grain storage, shuttle loading, inland terminal, export facility and grain processing projects are scheduled to be completed. These developments are expected to come online and contribute to the industry's growth and efficiency.
