The board of directors of the EU Association of Specialty Feed Ingredients and their Mixtures (FEFANA) has elected Alexandre Cevallos as its new president for a two-year term, succeeding Dr. Séverine Deschandelliers (Adisseo).
An international executive with a solid scientific and business background, Cevallos draws on more than 25 years of experience in research and development, manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs across the flavor and fragrance, feed additives, beauty and pharmaceutical industries. Since 2015, he has served as technical director for Lucta SA, and brings wide leadership experience in European and international trade associations.
“I am honored FEFANA’s board have placed their trust in me and I would like to thank my predecessor, Séverine Deschandelliers, for her outstanding leadership and contribution to FEFANA over the past six years,” Cevallos said. “I look forward to serving the interests of FEFANA members and taking the industry forward at this crucial time as we face growing convergence of multiple geopolitical risks, regulatory complexity and competitiveness pressures while continuing to demonstrate and promote our essential contribution to sustainable livestock production through innovation, animal health, resource efficiency and reduced environmental impact.”
The board of directors expressed their deep appreciation to the outgoing President Séverine Deschandelliers for her very successful presidential term, leading FEFANA through some major changes and developments in the sector.
