Hamlet Protein attends conferences in China.

Company addressed swine nutrition, sow feed and gut health issues

Hamlet Protein, multinational producer of soy-based protein ingredients for young animals, participated in a series of events in China. Hamlet Protein’s APAC organization is headquartered in Qingdao, China, and in recent years the company has invested strongly in building a team of commercial and technical managers alongside the establishment of a distribution network.

The 5th Sow Nutrition conference was held in Chongqing and focused on technological innovation in swine nutrition, with interesting insights on antibiotic free production, feeding management and cost control. The event was well attended by representatives of integrators, farms and breeding company

Hamlet Protein addressed the importance of protein in swine nutrition, the role of fatty acids in sow feed and how fiber can drive gut health.

The Leman China Swine conference, organized for the 10th time this year, also took place in Chongqing. With more than 10,000 delegates attending, this became the first conference on animal husbandry surpassing that threshold. Representatives of Hamlet Protein engaged with industry professionals and academics on piglet nutrition, the role of fermented fiber in breeding animals and the role of vegetable protein in ASF prevention.

Organized in Hamlet Protein’s home town of Qingdao, the Kunpeng Feed Technology conference attracted a large group of technical feedmill managers, nutritionists and researchers. The technical and commercial team of Hamlet Protein attending the conference focused on discussing the strategic approach on using vegetable proteins in an anti-biotic free diet.

Dr. Yu Feng, regional director APAC of Hamlet Protein, commented: “These conferences provide us with a great opportunity to share our knowledge and latest insights from our global operation with the Chinese swine industry. Our European colleagues have been working with a restriction on AGP use for many years and are currently facing the ban on ZnO as well. At Hamlet Protein, we have developed a range of products that can provide practical solutions when formulating diets with these restrictions, and we notice a growing interest from Chinese producers.”

Hamlet Protein produces soy-based protein ingredients for young piglets, poultry and cattle feed at two production plants in Denmark and the US.  Hamlet Protein services customers around the world through a network of own sales offices and distributors. Find out more www.hamletprotein.com
