Estonian company Pro Grupp Invest OÜ has recently opened a large feed mill in the Kantküla village of the Torma vald in Jõgevamaa, Estonia. With the capacity to produce 120,000 metric tons of animal feed per year, the facility promises to be one of the largest suppliers of compound feed production for pigs and cattle in the Baltic States.

Nutreco to acquire Micronutrients

Nutreco has entered into an agreement with The Heritage Group, owners of Micronutrients, to acquire this global leader in hydroxy-based trace minerals. The acquisition enables Trouw Nutrition, Nutreco’s animal nutrition business, to further strengthen its Selko Feed Additives portfolio. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the first quarter of next year.
