Proposed planning changes will support UK food producers

The government of the United Kingdom has launched a public consultation on proposed revisions to the planning process. Some of the revisions aim to boost the nation’s reliance on food imports.

The United Kingdom (U.K.) government has opened its latest proposed revision of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) for public consultation.

Primary aim of the latest proposals from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is to address the housing shortage by increasing the number of planning applications for various developments that are accepted.
