Grupo Bachoco will purchase more than 700,000 tons of domestically sourced grains annually from states such as Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, Chihuahua and the Bajío region for its production chain. Recently, the company reached an agreement with agricultural producers in Celaya, Guanajuato, to incorporate an additional 70,000 to 80,000 tons of sorghum.
For more than 75 years, Grupo Bachoco has worked hand in hand with agricultural producers, reiterating its commitment to Mexican agriculture and to the thousands of families that are part of the national agricultural ecosystem. The company remains open to local producers to ensure the quality, traceability and sustainability of the grains used in the production of essential animal feed.
The company also invites producers to join its sustainable practices programs, which focus on the responsible use of natural resources, energy efficiency and agricultural innovation. These initiatives aim to strengthen agricultural productivity without compromising the environment, contributing to a more sustainable future for generations to come.
