Mountaire Farms of Delaware Inc. has acquired Maryland’s Carmean Grain.
Mountaire, a purchaser of commodity grains, says the addition of Carmean will position the company to better serve the local farming community and further its business initiatives. Carmean will continue to handle the production of corn, wheat, soybeans and barley.
