Cambodian government supports feed production

A new agreement will see coordinated sourcing of key raw materials for six of the Southeast Asian nation’s leading feed manufacturers.

Last week, six feed companies in Cambodia signed a memorandum of understanding covering the procurement of raw materials, including corn, for animal diets.

The agreement was overseen by the commerce ministry, reports Khmer Times. Purchasing of the following feed ingredients will be coordinated by the ministry: 189,000 metric tons (mt) of corn, 81,600 mt of cassava, 51,350 mt of  broken rice and 57,370 mt of rice husks.
