Kemin opens customer service laboratory in Moscow

Lab will deliver tailored services to meet customers’ unique needs

Kemin opened a fully equipped customer service laboratory in Moscow on June 23 to better serve the feed industry and its customers in Russia and neighboring Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). One of the industry’s first laboratories of its type in the region, it will deliver tailored services to meet each customer’s unique needs: screening raw materials and finished feed for mycotoxin risks, qualifying the nutritional and oxidative status of oils and fats, and evaluating a variety of chemical analyses to assess the quality of feed and feed raw materials.

Kemin Customer Laboratory Services (CLS) works closely with customers to overcome challenges and ensure they receive the maximum value from Kemin products. Relying on their profound product knowledge, technical expertise and problem-solving skills, Kemin CLS staff readily discover the source of a problem and develop a solution, establish correct application rates, and identify the most effective mode of application.

The new laboratory was officially opened by the company’s founders RW and Mary Nelson, along with several Russian and Belgian officials.

In addition to revealing the new laboratory, attendees at the grand opening were invited to engage in an experiment – extracting DNA from strawberries – as an interactive way to demonstrate Kemin Industries’ work providing inspired molecular solutions.
