Biorigin Brazilian unit has new operations manager

César Augusto Porto Martins is the new operations manager for the Biorigin Brazilian unit. He will be responsible for managing Biorigin’s pure culture plant, as well as its sugar and ethanol plant, both located at Quatá, Brazil.

César Augusto Porto Martins is the new operations manager for the Biorigin Brazilian unit. He will be responsible for managing Biorigin’s pure culture plant, as well as its sugar and ethanol plant, both located at Quatá, Brazil.

He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering focusing on research and development of chemical processes by Universidade Federal de São Carlos (Brazil) and an international executive MBA in business management by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil).

César has 17 years of experience in process, production and development of products with large companies in the food (sugar, ethanol and generation and exportation of energy) and packing industries. He began his path at Zilor in 2004 as an industrial processes specialist and in 2007 he took charge of the operations management of UBG Plant, specializing in sugar and ethanol.
