Royal Agrifirm Group to name new CEO

Dick Hordijk, who has held that role for the past eight years, will remain the CEO for the rest of 2024.

Royal Agrifirm Group has started the process to name a new CEO.

Dick Hordijk has held the CEO position since June 2016, but he and the company’s supervisory board have jointly decided that as Royal Agrifirm group is developing a new strategy for 2025-28, the time is right for a new person to take on the CEO role.

Hordijk will remain the CEO until January 1, 2025, to complete the current strategic period.

The company said it hopes to announce plans for Hordijk’s successor “within a few weeks.”

Headquartered in the Netherlands, Agrifirm is the world’s 39th largest feed company, having produced 3.2 million metric tons of feed during the past year.
