The Swiss family business, Gericke, headquartered in Zurich, is pleased to announce the establishment of an affiliate company in the United States – Gericke USA, Inc. This expansion will address growing customer needs in the United States and will help the company better address the pent up demand for the company’s processing equipment. The company has established its U.S. headquarters for sales and engineering support in a 5,000 square-foot office in Somerset, N.J.

Alberto Rodriguez, heading up the U.S. operation as Senior Vice President, is well versed in the company and its products, having served as one of its principal distributors in the U.S. marketplace for the past 15 years. “I am excited to help Gericke establish a strong base of operations here in the U.S. Its product has always been well received, and I look forward to serving a loyal customer base as well as meeting the needs of new customers,” noted Rodriguez.

Gericke engineers and manufactures machines for the process of bulk materials (powders, fibers, resins and other raw materials) in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and pet food industries. Its processes focus on the mechanical transformation and value growth of raw materials accomplished by grinding, mixing, separating and thermal change. Products include systems for silage and conveying of products, feeding and mixing systems as well as grinding and sifting machines supplied as components or as turnkey systems.

“We are delighted to support our U.S. customer base with a U.S. affiliate,” remarked Markus H. Gericke, CEO of Gericke. “This action only reinforces our commitment to serve the global marketplace with trendsetting processing systems. The U.S. marketplace offers us a huge opportunity to expand in this manner.”
