TechMix Global has hired Sjors Zuurhout to support its international business unit in marketing efforts and distributor relations. International business growth for TechMix Global has prompted the call for additional staffing. TechMix Global has built relationships with distribution partners in a number of new countries through product line updates and solutions for livestock performance and production. Products like Fresh Cow YMCP, Calf Renova, Baby Pig Restart, BlueLite Replenish M, and Rumen Yeast Caps are some of the key products upon which the TechMix Global business is being built. Mr. Zuurhout, a graduate from Aeres University of Applied Sciences Dronten, Flevoland, was raised on a dairy farm in The Netherlands and has U.S. dairy farm experience from a period when his family established a dairy business in the state of Indiana. Along with exposure in the U.S. dairy market, Sjors has worked on a mega dairy in Egypt, discussed the dairy industry with officials in Estonia, toured dairies in Germany and worked for a Finnish lumber harvesting company. In all ways, his extensive international experience will greatly support his input and relationships with current and future distribution partners for TechMix.

“With Sjors added to the TechMix international team we will be able to serve customers more efficiently and help them develop marketing programs that add value to their producer and veterinary customers. Sjors’s knowledge of the dairy industry and formal marketing education will be a great help for producers looking to better understand how TechMix products can contribute to improved performance and production,” says David Muysson, TechMix Global COO and International Director.

Leadership positions during school and in the areas of marketing and student recruitment, along with unique business internships across the region, will be big contributors to his business and career success. There is no replacement for Sjors’s on-farm experience in helping him understand the challenges of the EU dairy farmer and effectively communicate and advise on solutions.
