Novus employees donate $1M to local charities

Since 2010, Novus and its employees have made big contributions to the United Way's Annual Giving Campaign

Over the past five years, Novus International, Inc. and its employees have pledged $1M to local charities through the United Way's Annual Giving Campaign. This year, employee donations totaled more than $105,000. Novus matched employee contributions for a total yearly donation over $210,000. Contributions supported the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Arkansas, Southwest Missouri, Brazoria County and Greater Houston.

"From my experience, giving through the United Way allows me to have the greatest community impact,” said Jeff Klopfenstein, Novus International's president of the Methionine Business Unit.United Way does what no other organization can – it brings communities together to strengthen dozens of local health and human service agencies that provide assistance to those in need.”

Novus maintains a long tradition of involvement and support for its local communities. The company encourages its employees to donate to causes important to them, with their gifts matched by the Novus Gift Matching program, and also engage in volunteer activities in local communities.
