ForFarmers COO Adrie van der Ven to leave at year’s end

ForFarmers chief operating officer and executive board member Adrie van der Ven will leave the cooperative on January 1, 2022.

Will remain in position until October and will work as an adviser until end of 2021

ForFarmers chief operating officer and executive board member Adrie van der Ven will leave the cooperative on January 1, 2022.

He will remain in his positions until October 1 and will stay on as an adviser until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition of his tasks and responsibilities.

“Adrie joined the executive board in 2019. He has made a significant contribution to the realization of the strategy Build to Grow 2025, for which I am grateful to him,” said Yoram Knoop, CEO of ForFarmers. “In addition, the important step to the growth market Poland was made under his leadership. On behalf of myself and my colleagues, I want to wish him the best for the future.”

ForFarmers will announce van der Ven’s successor at a later date.

According to Feed Strategy’s Top Feed Companies database, ForFarmers N.V. is among Europe’s largest feed producers. The company produces and supplies both regular and organic animal feed and commodities (such as arable and grassland management products) mainly in the cattle, pig and poultry sectors. A network of subsidiaries and partnerships rounds out operations that include 35 production facilities in the Netherlands, Belgium, U.K. and Germany. In addition to compound feeds, ForFarmers’ feed division also includes minerals, additives, fertilizers and seeds. In 2020, ForFarmers produced 10 million metric tons of animal feed.
