Arm & Hammer welcomes Dr. Lavergne

Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition has announced the addition of Dr. Theresia Lavergne as manager, field technical services, monogastric.

Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition has announced the addition of Dr. Theresia Lavergne as manager, field technical services, monogastric. In this role, she will provide technical support for the ARM & HAMMER sales team, and swine and poultry customers and consultants throughout the United States.

Theresia has had a distinguished research and teaching career, serving as an assistant professor, associate professor and professor of poultry—with Extension appointments—in the School of Animal Sciences at the Louisiana State University Ag Center in Baton Rouge, La. In addition, she has previously served as a swine technical services manager for Land O’Lakes, as well as a Department of Agriculture instructor at Austin Peay State University.

“We’re thrilled to have Dr. Lavergne join our team and look forward to leveraging her extensive expertise for the benefit of our customers,” says Dr. Neil Michael, Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition manager of global technical services. “During her tenure at LSU, Theresia received notable industry awards, conducted critical research, authored numerous papers and served on many industry committees and advisory boards.

“In addition to being a well-respected researcher, she is fantastic leader. Theresia’s talents, experience and skills will be invaluable assets for our team and our customers,” says Dr. Michael. “We look forward to growing our poultry and swine offerings throughout the world.”

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Science from Auburn University, a Master of Science degree in non-ruminant animal nutrition from Mississippi State University and a Ph.D. in non-ruminant animal nutrition from Louisiana State University.
