October visits to headquarters, farms, premix companies, compound feed manufacturers, hatcheries, slaughterhouses and supermarkets were made in Spain, France and the UK.
Discussion focused on animal health, nutrition, welfare and legislation. Differences in broiler production systems and potential solutions for current and future challenges also were discussed.
