German feed production expands by more than 2%

Although the latest figures point to a contraction in the number of feed mills in Germany, total national production is up by 2.3%.

For the latest financial year (2024-25), compound feed production in Germany was 22.2 million metric tons (mmt).

According to the latest provisional figures from the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE), this figure compares with 21.7 mmt in the previous year, which would represent a year-on-year expansion of 2.3%.
