From WATTAgNet:Poultry and animal feed business BOCM Pauls will rebrand as ForFarmers, the name of its Dutch parent company. ForFarmers acquired BOCM Pauls in July 2012. The company’s fleet of trucks and its mills will be rebranded, as well as all corporate material, emails and websites. The rebranding process could take up to six months, the company said.“While some may regard the rebranding of BOCM Pauls as the end of an era, in reality it simply represents the next step in the history of a company that has evolved continuously for more than 100 years,” said U.K. chief operating officer Iain Gardner.ForFarmers produces more than 2 million tons of compound feed at 12 sites across the United Kingdom, most of which is pig and dairy rations. Its U.K. sales total EUR590 million. In the U.K. poultry sector, the company has monogastric mills at five locations in the U.K.The company operates in Holland, Germany, Belgium and the U.K. It has 25 production sites, making 6.4 million tons of compound feed, with sales of EUR1.95 billion. It is looking to move into a fifth country market in the future and has aspirations to grow organically and through acquisitions.ForFarmers is 70 percent farmer-owned.
