Anitox has named Camilo Mejia as interim chief executive officer (CEO), effective October 19, 2026.
Anitox supplies feed pathogen control and milling efficiency products. Mejia also serves as CEO of Alura, another business within Iluma Alliance, the group that Anitox belongs to.
The company said Mejia knows the Alliance's businesses and strategic priorities well. It expects that experience to help him guide Anitox through the leadership transition and find ways for the group's businesses to work more closely together.
"Anitox has built a strong legacy through the expertise of its people, the quality of its science, and the relationships it has established with customers around the world," said Mejia. "I'm looking forward to working with the team to build on that foundation, strengthen connections across Iluma Alliance and continue finding practical ways to create value for the industries we serve."
The company described the appointment as part of a wider effort to strengthen its position within Iluma Alliance. The goal is to combine the expertise, science and technology of the group's businesses to serve animal protein producers.
According to Anitox, the transition is also a chance to link knowledge, data and technology across the Alliance's businesses to support innovation and operations.
