Ann Wooming has joined Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production as a poultry technical services manager on the poultry and swine business team. In this role Wooming will be responsible for field technical services for the commercial turkey production segment.

“Ann’s expertise in the development of research protocols and trials for pre- and postharvest food safety interventions will a valuable asset to our team,” said Mark Martinez, Arm & Hammer senior manager, business development. “She brings a strong skillset from her nearly 18 years of food manufacturing experience ranging from live animal production to finished product.”

Prior to joining Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production, Wooming worked at Cargill Protein Group where she supported both live production and food processing facilities in the poultry market with data analysis, food safety intervention optimization and technical support for food safety programs.
She received a Bachelor of Science in clinical laboratory science, a Master of Science in poultry science and earned her doctorate in poultry science with a focus on pre- and postharvest strategies to reduce foodborne disease-causing pathogens.
