At a recent meeting with potential international future development partners, representatives from the Liberian fisheries sector highlighted the country’s recent progress on transparency, accountability and reform-driven leadership in this area.

Acting director-general of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA), J. Cyrus Sagbe Sr. stressed the nation’s determination to eradicate illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
