Continuing to strengthen its global operations, AB Vista has appointed Dr. Svetlana Peganova as a new technical manager in EMEA. Taking up the post on December 2, Peganova’s primary role will be to oversee AB Vista’s technical activities in the German-speaking countries of the EMEA region.
With more than ten years’ experience in product development within the German feed industry, plus an academic research background in poultry nutrition, Peganova brings a wealth of expertise to the AB Vista EMEA team. Her PhD thesis – conducted at the Institute of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Halle (Saale), Germany – was entitled “Studies on the requirement, excess and interactions of isoleucine and valine, and the requirement of tryptophan in laying hens.” It was the awarded the prize from the H. Wilhelm Schaumann Foundation, Hamburg, for being the best dissertation in the field of animal nutrition for the year 2001/2002 in Germany.
