Hy-Line International appoints new global technical services manager

Hy-Line International announces the appointment of Jamie McIntosh as global technical services manager and alternative systems specialist. This strategic addition comes in response to the growing global demand for Hy-Line layers in alternative production systems.

McIntosh brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the poultry industry, with a specialization in managing aviary, barn and free-range systems. A graduate of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, McIntosh earned his degree in 2006 and has since held key roles that have honed his expertise in best practices and technical operations for alternative production systems. His practical experience in managing large-scale farms and leading teams, combined with his deep industry knowledge, makes him an invaluable asset to Hy-Line International and its customers.

In his new role, McIntosh will play a pivotal part in strengthening Hy-Line’s leadership in alternative systems management. As a member of the global technical services team, his responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert technical assistance to distributors and commercial producers
  • Supporting and nurturing partnerships with producers worldwide
  • Enhancing alternative systems through tailored advice and specialized training programs
  • Developing cutting-edge literature and training materials to ensure Hy-Line remains at the forefront of innovation in alternative systems
