USPOULTRY postpones Feed Mill Management Seminar

The U.S. Poultry and Egg Association (USPOULTRY) has postponed the 2020 Feed Mill Management Seminar that was scheduled to take place March 18-19 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Organizers say event may be rescheduled in July

The U.S. Poultry and Egg Association (USPOULTRY) has postponed the 2020 Feed Mill Management Seminar that was scheduled to take place March 18-19 in Nashville, Tennessee, due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Over the past several days, USPOULTRY has been closely monitoring the guidance from state and federal health authorities regarding the coronavirus,” USPOULTRY said in its announcement. “Please know that we did not make this decision lightly, but after close monitoring of the situation, we felt it was the right thing to do to protect the health and safety of our attendees and staff. We are working with the hotel to reschedule in July. We will update everyone once we work through the rescheduling details with the hotel.”

The event’s postponement comes after several other industry events were canceled or postponed and two days after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic.

USPOULTRY said it will notify registered attendees once details of the rescheduling are worked out.
