Kemin Industries has appointed Akram Talibov as commercial director for the company’s animal nutrition and health division in Europe.
Talibov brings 20 years of professional sales and managerial experience to Kemin, most recently as general manager at Biotechnology LLC, where he led the Greenprotein Project – a production of sunflower concentrate for animal feeding. The company has patented a break-through protein concentration technology that allows production of 85 percent purity protein isolates. Prior to that, he was managing a Moscow office of an Austrian feed additive company.
Talibov obtained his European MBA from Mannheim Business School, majoring in Strategic Management for SMEs. He received his master’s degree at Tashkent State University of Economics, while also completing 18 months study abroad majoring in International Marketing at Susquehanna University, USA.
Talibov will work closely with Mathieu Cortyl to help achieve company goals in the EMEA region.
