Kansas State holds advanced feed manufacturing course

Kansas State University's Department of Grain Science and Industry held an advanced feed manufacturing short course for 27 feed industry professionals in June. The course was offered in partnership with the American Feed Industry Association and the National Grain and Feed Association.

Kansas State University’s Department of Grain Science and Industry held an advanced feed manufacturing short course for 27 feed industry professionals in June. The course was offered in partnership with the American Feed Industry Association and the National Grain and Feed Association.

The course covered relevant topics such as quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, and specific equipment design and operation.  

“All lessons were helpful and informative. I really enjoyed the course and recommend it to any feed manufacturing facility employees,” said Raymond Nichols, course participant and Tyson Foods feed mill manager in Sebree, Ky.
