Producer contributes to economic upswing in Austria with international distribution
agromed Austria GmbH produces feed additives and distributes them internationally. For this, the company has been awarded the silver export prize by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO). The award was presented by the Minister of Economic Affairs, Margarete Schramböck and President of the Economic Chamber, Harald Mahrer. This award is given to domestic companies whose international commitment helps drive the economic upswing in Austria.
With the successful distribution of its innovative product range, the Austrian company agromed scores on the international market. The feed additives are based on the raw material wood; lignocellulose, which is an environmentally friendly and simultaneously, an animal-friendly alternative to conventional performance enhancers such as antibiotics. The current range of proprietary products includes lignocellulose-based products and immunomodulators for livestock and pets.
“We take our inspiration from nature’s processes, ensuring feed quality and animal health in a natural way, whilst also helping to fill nutritional gaps. This sustainable approach is gaining importance for farmers across Europe and around the world, against a backdrop of changing consumer demands. Subsequently, our products are seeing an increase in international demand. This, together with the silver export prize awarded by the WKO, confirms that we are on the right track,” says Helmut Grabherr, Managing Director of agromed.
