I have opened poultry formulas where the additive section was almost more impressive than the nutritional specifications. An enzyme, probiotic, prebiotic, organic acid, phytogenic, toxin binder, emulsifier, antioxidant and another product described simply as supporting gut health. Each had entered the formula for a reason. Nobody could explain why all of them remained.
