The International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) joined key Southeast Asian feed associations at the Victam International ASEAN Feed Summit to discuss critical feed safety, security and sustainability issues facing the region in 2015 and beyond.This first of its kind ASEAN Feed Summit, organized by Victam International, chaired by Pornsil Patchrintanakul, president of the Thai Feed Mill Association, and moderated by Alexandra de Athayde, IFIF executive director, brought together senior feed regulators and industry representatives from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. According to a new research report by Allied Market Research,titled “Animal Feed Additives Market (Product, Livestock, Geography) - Global IndustrySize, Analysis, Growth, Trends, Share, Opportunities and Forecast 2013 – 2020,”the global animal feed additives market was valued at $14.9 billion in 2013 andis estimated to reach $20 billion, registering a compound annual growth rate of4.2 percent during 2013 - 2020. The increase in global meat consumption has boosted the demandof animal feed and feed additives market.
