Cattle group to FDA: Approve Ivermectin against screwworms

Concerns about a potential U.S. infestation are growing after NWS was detected in Mexico.

The Ranchers and Cattlemen Action Legal Fund-United Stockgrowers of America (RCALFUSA) urged the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) to approve the use of Ivermectin as an oral feed-through for livestock and wildlife as a precaution against the New World Screwworm (NWS).
